The 17 th annual Moreau Society weekend was held September 14-17 at the Holy Cross LaPorte Center in La Porte, Indiana. More than 35 guests joined together for three days of prayer, reflection, community, and a touch of Notre Dame football. This special even is offered every year in gratitude for the significant investment members of the Moreau Society make with the United States Province.
Fr. Ron Raab, C.S.C., led the retreat with conferences focused on God’s mercy and grace and our call to holiness. As the retreat occurred during the Solemnity of Our Lady of Sorrows, patroness of the Congregation of Holy Cross, Fr. Ron delved into Mary’s sorrows and her powerful message for us.
The annual Moreau Society weekend is one way the United States Province extends its mission and its gratitude for those whose support strengthens its education and formation programs, the care of elderly, infirmed, and retired religious, and bolsters its international missions.
We thank the 550+ members of the Moreau Society and all our benefactors for the empowering prayers and financial support.
