Director of Community Life and Health, Beth Keultjes, and Rev. Richard Wilkinson, director of Health Care and Wellness, visited Christopher Lodge, located in Cocoa Beach, Florida. The Community Life and Health teamfocuses on the physical and psychological health of the members and local communities of the U.S. Province.
Working with the local superiors, Keultjes develops community-based health programs aimed at the prevention of disease and promotion of wellness and also assists with spiritual programming for the Province. This trip was a touch base with the Christopher Lodge community to ensure their needs are being met and to see if there are areas in need of improvement. Keultjes and her team make periodic visits to each all of the Holy Cross communities for retired priests. She also coordinates the Superiors’ and Community retreats.
