Rev. Daniel Groody, C.S.C., associate professor of theology and director of the Center for Latino Spirituality and Culture at the University of Notre Dame, will be the first speaker in an upcoming lecture series at Saint Mary’s College.
Fr. Groody will speak on “Dying to Live: A Theology of Migration” at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 12 in the Stapleton Lounge at Le Mans Hall. He is an expert in migration issues and theology and has been honored for his work with the Latino community.
The event is sponsored by Saint Mary’s Center for Spirituality and is part of the 2013 fall lecture series “Justice and its Many Facets.”
The lecture is free and open to the public.
