Rev. John Phalen, C.S.C., was featured in the May 30, 2014, issue of “The Anchor,” the weekly newspaper of the Diocese of Fall River, Mass.
Fr. Phalen will officially step down as president of Holy Cross Family Ministries on June 30. He will take a short sabbatical and then head to Peru to take on a new assignment as director of novices for Holy Cross in the Latin American country. Fr. Willy Raymond, C.S.C., director of Family Theater, will take over as president of HCFM, which is headquartered in Easton, Mass., and is a ministry of the U.S. Province.
Fr. Phalen has overseen HCFM and its various ministries, including Family Rosary, Family Theater Productions and the Father Peyton Family Institute, for 18 years.
