Rev. Thomas Hosinski, C.S.C., will participate in a discussion about the integration of science and faith this week at the University of Portland (Ore.)
The event will begin at 4 p.m. Wednesday (April 10, 2013) in Buckley Center Room 163 on the University campus. The talk is sponsored by the Garaventa Center for Catholic Intellectual Life and American Culture.
Fr. Hosinski, a professor of theology who specializes in the dialogue between science and religion, will join colleague Shannon Mayer, a professor of physics at UP.Mayer will provide examples of howfaith and science are integrated in the life of a professional scientist. Hosinski will reflect on how religion and sciencecomplement each other, so that together they give us a deeper understanding of reality.
