By way of introduction, my name is Brian Lohr and I am honored to be the Provincial Assistant, Office of Mission Advancement for the Congregation of Holy Cross, United States Province of Priests and Brothers.
For the last twenty-two years, I have held various admissions positions at the University of Notre Dame. Most recently, I was the Director of Admissions – Operations and Management for the undergraduate Office of Admissions. In this role I was responsible for the office’s staff of recruiters, was the admissions liaison for eleven (11) varsity sports, and was responsible for the day-to-day operational effectiveness of the office. Prior to that role, I was Director of Graduate Admissions at the Mendoza College of Business where I had admitting responsibilities for the MBA Program and several other graduate business degree programs.
Prior to joining the University of Notre Dame, I was Director of Enrollment for Saint Meinrad College and School of Theology in Saint Meinrad, Indiana. In this role, I worked with candidates to the college seminary and lay ministry programs.
I began my career with Lockheed Martin in St. Louis, Missouri following my graduation from Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania. I earned my graduate degree from the University of Notre Dame, Mendoza College of Business in 2003. My wife Kelly and I have four children. Emily (Notre Dame ’14), Meghan (Notre Dame ’15), Nicholas (Notre Dame ’19) and Caroline (Michigan State University ’20…I know!).
