The University of Notre Dame to join Pope Francis for Day of Fasting and Prayer for peace in Syria this weekend.
In Pope Francis’ Angelus this past Sunday, Sept. 1, he called on the world’s Catholics to fast and pray for peace in the Middle East.
Notre Dame’s Center for Social Concerns, Campus Ministry and student leaders are responding to the Pope’s call by planning a series of events and liturgies for students and the Notre Dame communityto begin Friday.
