Sacred Heart Province Renovates Scholasticate Building

Built in 1995, the Holy Cross Scholasticate Building in Rampura-Dhaka, Bangladesh, has served as a formation house for Sacred Heart Province of Priests for nearly thirty years. With a capacity of up to thirty seminarians, the men live in community at the Scholasticate while pursuing their studies in philosophy and theology at Holy Spirit Major Seminary in Banani, Dhaka.
With its age, the Scholasticate building was in need of significant repair. Through the generosity of benefactors, the Holy Cross Mission Center provided funding to repair and update the floors, update the water lines, update the electric wiring, repair the plaster walls, and repaint the interior and exterior of the building.
