Rev. Mark Cregan, C.S.C., President of Stonehill College, is a passionate fan of athletics.
He’s also been an advocate for the expansion of Stonehill’s sports complex.
At the annual President’s Dinner last week, Stonehill Trustee Bill Devin announced that the Board of Trustees decided to name the expansion in honor of Fr. Cregan and his service to the College. Fr. Cregan, a 1978 alumnus of Stonehill, has served as president since July 2000. He is stepping down later this month and Rev. John Denning, C.S.C., will take over as Stonehill’s 10th president.
When it is completed, the Rev. Mark T. Cregan, C.S.C. Athletics and Fitness Center will be housed at the Sally Blair Ames Sports Complex.
